I am a 27 year old go getter. I grew up right outside of Cincinnati with my mom, dad, and younger sister. I've always been interested in the arts and decided to make it my career when I enrolled and graduated from Wilmington College with a degree in Visual Communication. Throughout college I worked as an in home senior caregiver and enjoyed it so much. Being such a rewarding job it was a bitter sweet time in my life when I moved on to persue a job in my career field. My first job out of college was as a Graphic Designer for Brat Screen Printing & Embroidery. There I was able to get hands on experience in designing promotional graphics, preparing print files, and even dabbled in social media management and web design. I currently work as a production artist for BGR where my attention to detail skills have been immensley sharpened.
I first realised I had an interest in web design through editing the Wix website at my first job. Wix can be a good option for your website but I wanted complete control over the design and functionality ascpects of the site. At this point I enrolled in the Google UX/UI Web Design Certificate as well as the John Hopkins HTML, CSS, and Javascript Coding Certificate and learned alot including how to code this entire portfolio website.
On a more personal level I enjoy spending my weekends growing and preserving my own food, cooking from scratch, and look after my two dogs, two cats, turtle, and chickens. I also enjoy documenting and editing some of my weekend activities into videos to post on my Youtube channel to keep my editing skills sharp. Feel free to connect with me below!
